This concert wasn't the highlight of the Meat Is Murder tour, but it still went without a hitch. The audience was reasonably receptive and the band gave an excellent performance. Regular encore "You've Got Everything Now" wasn't performed.

Morrissey wasn't very talkative. His only significant banter was delivered after "Hand In Glove": "Hope you're all nice and comfortable". He then started to answer "It is...", stopped and then, in a matter-of-fact way, said "This is rock'n'roll!". Shortly later he introduced "Shakespeare's Sister" with the words "This is our new single... about the greatest barmaid that ever lived". When he returned to the stage for the third encore, he thanked the audience and added "You're very nice, very kind".

Two different audience recordings of this concert are available from bootleg traders. One features the full set in reasonably good quality (recorder unknown). The other one sounds better, but only features about 20 minutes of the gig, the first five and a half songs plus a portion of "Miserable Lie" (recorder: Soundsville's Steve). Both recordings can be found on the internet, albeit scarcely.
