24 July 1983
Hammersmith Palais, London

The advertisements for this concert announced that The Smiths were to support Altered Images and Roman Holliday. However, according to biographer Johnny Rogan, headliners Altered Images changed their minds about having the Smiths play before them, probably because there was already a big buzz around the band and they didn't want to be upstaged.

However Altered Images fan Steve Ughetti claims that the Smiths did indeed play.

Tickets were £3.50.
