Security in Minneapolis was more relaxed than for the last few concerts in California, and many fans got on stage. Some even managed to follow Morrissey off stage after the concert. Morrissey was very talkative and introduced many of the songs. Setlist regulars "Our Frank", "Interesting Drug" and "The Last Of The Famous International Playboys" which had been dropped at the last concert were reinstated into the set, replacing the one-off "Trash" and "I've Changed My Plea To Guilty".

During "Our Frank", no cigarettes were thrown on stage, but someone did throw a red pullover.
