There is no difference between the 'original single version' and the 'Manchester version' of "This Charming Man".

Jean Marais from Cocteau's classic film "Orphée", as for the original 1983 single. The back shows the rest of Marais' arm.

Promotion:
UK: A specially pressed 7" numbered YZ0001DJ as well as stock copies of the 7" with a plugger sticker on the sleeve were both used for promotion of this single reissue. The song was also included on three different various artists WEA promo cds (PROMOCD32, PROMOCD33 and PROMOCD34). A WEA one-track promo video was sent to the relevant media for broadcast. Besides the latter, the video for the song was also included on a WEA/East West various artists video promo compilation dated July 1992.

Germany: The promo 7" had an added "for promotion only not for resale" line printed on label.

Japan: Promo cds had a promo sticker on the case and a promo warning etched around the cd's inner ring.

Spain: The one-track "This Charming Man" cd from this country was used to promote a reissue of the Singles album and has nothing to do with the "This Charming Man" single.

Switzerland: A various artists promo video compilation dated 20/08/1992 and featuring the video for "This Charming Man" was distributed to promote this single as well as the "Best...I" album.
