Additional information:
The UK 7" is available with the contractually-specified-by-Morrissey paper label, but some copies have a silver injection moulded label.

The USA cd-single was originally released on digipack and later re-released in a jewel case.

The Australian 7" single didn't have a picture sleeve, it was slipped inside a generic green EMI bag.

UK: This single was the third of five consecutive ones promoted with the help of a retro-style promo 7" (POPDJ1626; view on the left). One-track promo videos were produced by Capitol and by In Phase. B-side "The Loop" was included on a various artists cassette titled "The Parlophone Tape" given away with a 1991 issue of Select magazine.

Japan: Promo cds have a promo sticker on the back tray inlay and 'Sample not for sale' etched around the cd's inner ring.

USA: Promotion was mostly done via gold-stamped copies of the 12" and one-track promo videos (Warner, C86062). "Sing Your Life" was included on volume VI of Reprise's various artists promo/sampler series titled "Follow Our Trax" (PRO-CD-4635). The video was also included on a various artists Warner video sampler (C89296). It was also included on volume 99A of the various artists promo series Telegenics and the June 1991 issue of the Rockamerica promo videos series .
